Well, for the past 7 days I've had a prologue and that's it. I doubt I'm going to win this year because I've had next to no motivation to do this and just haven't been in the right place mentally, but I'm going to at least try it and know that next year I will at least have a plan to begin with!
Now I have characters and the person who I thought was in the prologue is somebody completely different and just not the character that I expected at all. :)
